It’s time to recognize the exceptional women veterans who have demonstrated outstanding leadership, outreach, or volunteerism in their communities!
The California Department of Veterans Affairs (CalVet) is seeking nominations for the 2024 CalVet Women Veterans Trailblazer Award. Award recipients will be honored at the CalVet Leadership Summit in San Diego, CA, in October 2024.
Instructions for Submitting a Nomination:
- During the active nomination campaign, please submit nominations using the form below.
- Include the nominee’s full contact information (address, email, phone, etc.) in the nomination form to complete the package.
- Self-nominations will not be accepted.
- Submit nominations electronically towomenveterans@calvet.ca.gov by attaching the completed form as a PDF.

The deadline to submit nomination packages for the 2025 Center for Women Veterans Trailblazers “Women Veterans Forging a Path” initiative has been extended to Wednesday, October 30th, 2024.
