Military and Veteran spouses and partners play an important role in the military community, and their experiences deserve to be heard.
The 2026 Military & Veteran Spouse Wellness Survey is now open. This national research initiative is led by The University of Texas at Austin’s Institute for Military & Veteran Family Wellness in partnership with InDependent and explores the health and well-being of military and Veteran spouses and partners.
The survey looks at wellness across eight dimensions and is designed to help researchers better understand the strengths, challenges, and needs of the military and Veteran spouse community. Findings can help inform future programs, resources, and support.
Who Can Participate?
The survey is open to anyone 18 or older who is a current or former spouse or committed partner of a U.S. service member or Veteran.
Participation is anonymous and completed online. Whether your experience has been positive, challenging, or somewhere in between, your perspective can help provide a more complete picture of military and Veteran spouse wellness.
