Alameda County Veterans Affairs Commission. The duties will include to study, investigate and research veteran’s matters in the county so that service to vet’s can be coordinated and maximized, along with assist in Veterans Observance days during the year. Commissioners serve a 3-year term(s) with a maximum of 12 successive years.

Potential Commissioner(s) should be:

A resident of the county
Honorably discharged
Registered voter of the county
Good standing w/chartered veterans’ organization within the county
Supported by the commander
