Dear Sister Veterans,
I am thrilled and honored to reach out to you all as the returning Executive Director of the Center for Women Veterans. It feels like a homecoming to me, returning to this vital role, and I could not be more excited to support my sister women Veterans once again!
During my previous time at the Center, I witnessed the strength, resilience, and undeniable spirit of our community. Today, I stand ready to bring that same passion back into our work — supporting every one of you as you navigate through your unique journeys.
I am especially excited to work alongside the incredible team that has been here, working tirelessly and passionately for you, our women Veterans. The dedicated women who make up our staff are the backbone of this organization, and everything they do, they do it with you in mind, and the Center could not operate without their hard work and commitment. I look forward to collaborating with each of you as we strive to create an even greater impact.
Many of our sister Veterans have asked whether the Center is going away. We want to assure you that we are more committed than ever to supporting and serving you. We will maintain our social media channels and continue to highlight the unique benefits and services available specifically for women Veterans. We believe in keeping you informed and engaged so that you can fully take advantage of the resources that can make a difference in your lives. We will also be dedicating our efforts to locate women Veterans who have not yet found the VA and clear the way to introduce them on how to get on board…and we will be reaching out to you to help us make it happen.
As we look toward the future, I am committed to ensuring that our voices are heard and that your needs are met with urgency and care. The Center is the hub for all things related to women Veterans. We are here to ensure that you are fully informed about the benefits and services available to you. From benefits and healthcare to education, financial support, and beyond, we are dedicated to helping you navigate these resources so you can thrive in every aspect of life. Together, we will enhance programs that empower us as women Veterans, addressing the challenges that we face.
I am grateful for the trust that you have placed in us in the past and now again. I cannot wait to dive into our important and exciting work ahead. Together, we will ensure that women Veterans receive the support and resources that we so richly deserve. I am ready to #BringWomenVeteransHome2VA—
