FEDERAL RESUME & APPLICATION RESOURCES:
- ATTACHED:
- Federal-Gov Resume Template – This is the template and format I use personally. There are also a ton online if you don’t like this one or want to see other examples.
- Example Statement of Service – This is the substantiating document active-duty Service Members use in lieu of and until they receive their DD214 for Veterans preference/SHA. In case you were still active-duty or have people who are and may need it.
- Military to Civilian Translations – Guide developed in collaboration with federal HR specialists, to assist Veterans in translating their military experience into civilian terms.
- 6 Schedule A Example Letters – The template you will need signed by your medical provider to entitle you to the Schedule A hiring authority. **NOTE: Even if you are eligible for the 30% or More Disabled Veteran SHA, get this as well and use both when you apply.
