Study Opportunity: Female separation rates in the U.S. Military…

Good morning. My name is Jeff Craver and I am a doctoral candidate at the University of Southern California. I’m working on my dissertation to complete my doctorate degree.

The study title is: Female separation rates in the U.S. Military: Understanding stereotypes’ impact on female servicemembers’ beliefs and behaviors.

I’m looking to interview 8-10 prior-service female servicemembers who served in the active-duty Army, Marines, Navy, or Air Force for at least four consecutive years any time after January 1, 2010, were voluntarily and honorably discharged before they were eligible to retire and have experiences that are relevant to the research questions (stereotype experiences).

If I happened to supervise you at any time in the military (I am currently an Army Officer) you are not eligible, and if you currently serve the military in uniform, for example in the National Guard or Reserves, you are not eligible to participate.

You will receive $100 for participating in the one-hour interview. Payment will be made following the interview. If you choose to be compensated, I will process the payment electronically using Zelle.

If you’d like more information, you can email me at jcraver@usc.edu or you can just go to the survey link below.
