Study Opportunity Seeking Female Veteran Entrepreneurs

October 19, 2021

Dear Women Veteran Alliance Members, Entrepreneurs

A member of our organization, Jennifer Vollbrecht, is a Doctoral Student at Saint Mary’s College of California in Moraga. On behalf of Miss Vollbrecht, I am forwarding the following recruitment statement:

The project will study female veterans as they transition from military to veterans and then to entrepreneurship. The research will examine women veterans who embark on entrepreneurial ventures. The empirical drive of the research is that entrepreneurship is a significant career choice of women veterans. Yet we know little about why they make this career choice and what explains their success or failure.

I am seeking female veteran entrepreneurs who are willing to take part in the study. The interviews will take place over zoom and will take approximately 45-60 minutes. In order to participate, participants need to be a veteran who is female identified and is currently running a business.

Be assured, your decision to participate (or not) will have no bearing on your working relationship, status, or anything related to Women Veterans Alliance.

Interested participants can reach out to Jennifer Vollbrecht directly at  jav13@stmarys-ca.edu  before November 30th.
