Supporting Our Military Children with Our Military Kids

 Image Name

Military children often carry a quiet strength, but the challenges they face when a parent is deployed or recovering from injuries are real. That’s where Our Military Kids makes a difference. This nonprofit organization provides activity grants to children of deployed National Guard and Reserve members, and to those of wounded veterans from post-9/11 service.

Since 2004, Our Military Kids has awarded over 80,000 grants, offering not just financial support, but a way for children to build confidence, reduce stress, and simply be kids.

Ways They Support Military Children:

  • Extracurricular Activities – Sports, music, dance, art, and more

  • Tutoring Services – Helping kids stay on track academically

  • Summer Camps – Encouraging connection and personal growth

  • Emotional Support – Giving children something positive to focus on during difficult times

These grants—up to $300 per child—create lasting impact. Families can apply easily online and receive quick decisions.
