VA NCHCS Women’s Health announces NEW Medical Directors

VA NCHCS Women’s Health announces NEW Medical Directors and the addition of Women’s Health designated providers.

Leslie Farmer MD, a long-standing primary care physician in the VA, who is  certified in Internal Medicine has been appointed as the new Medical Director for the Women’s Healthcare program in Northern California.  Anita Patil MD, also a VA primary care physician and Air Force Veteran certified in Family Practice has been appointed as the Co-Medical Director for the East Bay which includes Martinez, Oakland, Fairfield and Mare Island VA clinics.

Designated Women’s Health providers (DWHPs) have been added in several locations to provide better access for our female Veterans. Please see all DWHP provider names and locations below. In order to schedule an appointment please call 1-800-382-8387, or individual clinic location.
