VETS’ Customer Experience Human Centered Design Project – Volunteers Needed

February 7, 2023

Calling all veterans! The Department of Labor Veterans’ Employment and Training Service (VETS) needs your help.

To better understand the diverse and unique perspectives of veterans and their employment journeys, VETS has embarked on a customer experience project to improve services offered to veterans through the Jobs for Veterans’ State Grants program at American Job Centers, or local career centers, across the Nation.

With support of Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, Technical Assent, VETS is looking to speak with veterans of all races, age ranges, eras of service, genders, and diverse lived experiences.

Whether you are employed, unemployed, underemployed, or looking to change careers; and whether you have used your local job center services or not – they want to hear from you.

Through multiple forms of conversation and observation, they hope to identify opportunities to improve the experience of veteran job seekers, as well as the processes and tools used by those who provide services to them.

The goal is to ensure they hear from a broad, diverse set of voices. If selected, interviews may be conducted in-person or virtually, and will be no longer than one hour in duration. Feedback will be non-attributional and voluntary.

If you’d like to volunteer to share your experiences with them, please fill out the interest form here: link

All responses will be received and processed by Technical Assent. Please contact Suzanne Caldwell at  scaldwell@technicalassent.com if you have any questions about our research activities.
