Women Veterans Alliance 2023 Recap: A Year of Impact and Connections

As we reflect on the incredible journey of 2023, we are thrilled to share with you a recap of the remarkable events and initiatives that made this year so impactful for Women Veterans Alliance. We’ve had the privilege of engaging with an inspiring community of women veterans, and we are eager to showcase the depth of our impact.

Throughout the year, WVA hosted 22 webinars.


The 11th Annual Spirit of Veterans Day- Saluting Community Service Excellence. In recognition of the 75th anniversary of the Women Armed Services Integration Act, Melissa presented the 2023 Congressional Honoree award to 27 women veterans. She and her daughter Maya received Congressional recognition.
