Womens Memorial- Remembrance Tree in Maine

August 26, 2021

Military Women’s Memorial partner Wreaths Across America (WAA) has gifted to us.  A Military Women’s Memorial Grove will be dedicated on WAA’s “tip land” in Columbia Falls, Maine on Monday, September 27, 2021 at 10 a.m. Event Location:  4 Points Street, Columbia Falls, Maine 04623. Please RSVP even if you are unable to attend so that you can get a free personalized dog tag hung in your honor.

Military Women who attend the grove dedication can place their own free dog in tag in honor of their service as part of WAA “Remembrance Tree” Program.  A dog tag, similar to our military dog tags, will be created for you as part of their “Living Memorial” to all of us. The trees where the dog tags will be placed are the trees that produce the balsam tips which are used in making millions of wreaths that are placed on veteran’s grave stones during their annual Convoy to Arlington National Cemetery.

Military Women who are unable to attend in person, please complete the RSVP link below and check you are not attending – this is important because it will generate a message to you to complete the free dog tag request for you. The dog tag will be placed on a tree for you.

Please help share this with all Military Women that have served/serving in the U.S. Armed Forces including groups you are members of.

Please RSVP using this link. Please RSVP even if you are unable to attend so that you can get a free personalized dog tag hung in your honor.
